The Circle of Life... ( or Catering): To Nanette From Benji

Months ago two young teenagers came to Bashful Butler to inquire about jobs. They gave their first names (Zoe and Silver) and that they were from Azusa but that was it.  I ignored it for months cause I didn’t really want to hire young teenagers with little to no experience. Then I thought about Nanette’s service Christmas gift and all she does for young women and the youth of the church so I decided to meet them and perhaps help them get a job. It took weeks to teach them how to fill out an application with us and payroll information and a school work permit but finally got them hired and they worked their first job last week. They were texting me the day before and the day of the event to make sure their shoes and pants were ok to use. I’m glad I helped out two friends with their first jobs ever. And when we finally connected to get started to my surprise, I found out that Zoe was Zoe Brady, Helga Brady’s granddaughter.
